Response: The first time I read the Diary of Anne Frank I felt so bad for the way she had to live for so many years. Now that I have listend to this Web site I still feel sorry but not as sorry because I dont really think that she wants us to feel sorry for her I think that she wants us to just see how she and others lived in hiding. I think that she was a very amazing and talented girl and that all children at some point in there life should learn about her. |

Response: I remember being between 11 or 12 years old when I read Anne Franks diary. I couldnt stop crying and wishing I had met her and her family. It left such a deep impact on me that I read anything I could get my hands on that had to do with the holocaust. She was so young, so bright, and so expressive. I hope her life has touched others as much as it did me, and that this atrocity of hatred is never repeated again. |

Response: I recall reading Annes diary when i was in elementary school but i wasn't to interested in it at the time. I am now a senior in high school and we had watched the movie "Freedom Writers" and that movie was so inspirational to me.So i decided to research Anne Frank. She is my hero and much more people like me. She was a very brave and beautiful girl. Even though i did not know her, it seems like i know her though her writings. She is in our hearts! |

Response: Anne Frank cut off like a budding fower, forced to bloom early to reveal in her short time all the wonders of what she could have been and already was. We need to utilize our precious time on the earth with such a heart , taking nothing for granted. |

Response: For school we(8th grade) had to do something about World War II. I did mine about Anne Frank. I think Anne is a great role model to show people what she went through during hiding. Hopefully people read her diary(book) and think to themselves, If this happened to me,would I do the same thing that she did? I can't believe that someone would do this to people from a different race.even though its still going on today! Everyone should learn that were all people. Anne Frank is a World War II Holocaust hero and she should ALWAYS be remembered by what happened to her in hiding. |

Response: I first heard of Anne Frank last summer when I went to Mexico for summer vacation. Thanks to my Aunt Beatrice, I am involved in this whole Holocaust thing. She took me to this museum located in the city, and it had ACTUAL close of Anne Frank's, a tremendously extraordinally emotional video of Anne Franks words and feelings. From then on, I have been so interested in the Holocaust. I have bought/rented many books and videos, done notes and searched resources. It is just tragic to know that a long time ago, one of the most darkest things in the history of the world happened to the Jews. How could Germans feel such tremendous hate? It is just a heartbreaker, knowing the CHILDREN who lived through that. We are so fortunate right now, that I even feel guilty sometimes when I see the table filled with delicious, warm food. When I sleep in my cozy queen-sized bed, a warm blanket and soft pillows. When I have clothes to wear at either mild or hot times. It just feels bad to think that over 50 million people died, because of them being Jews, or doing such "crimes". But now I am interested a lot in the stories of Anne Frank, and am planning to visit many parts of Europe, especially Amsterdam and Auschwitz. My honors I toast to Anne Frank, an extraordinary teen who shared her thoughts to millions of people throughout the world, and have made many people reflect the bright side. For that I honor, the very own, ANNE FRANK. |

Response: I LOVED the story. It was very touching. I think everyone has something to share in the world just like Anne Frsnk did.It made me sad when I heard the story.I think Anne Frank has given something to share in the world. Also I think everyone should have aleast something to share.NOBODY should be treated the way the Jews were.We ALL are humans so that is the way we should be treated.I think it was sad when the Nazis had to kill the innocent ones who were not at fault. |
