Response: The story of Anne Frank was Physically and emotionally sad and I could never understand why could this happen to such innocent people just because they were born a Jew. It was just terrible that a girl with hopes and dreams similar to mine would be shattered and she never got to live the feeling of publishing her diary. To be honest all of my fears seem meager compared to all of the suffering that Anne Frank had been through. Now I just dream that Anne would realize her wish did come true even though she never experienced it. The story of Anne Frank make me cry at the thought of it. May us children stop holocausts because if they ever happened again I think what a sad world this would be.Please everyone read the autobiography and help prevent further sadness in the next generation. That was just a heartfelt story that in the future I wish for none of this to happen again. |

Response: I am doing a project on Anne Frank and it amazes me how brave and couragious she was, and how she still hoped and believed in humanism after all the horrible things the Nazis did to her and her family |

Response: when I read about Anne Frank's life during her two years hiding from the Nazis I was very musch inspired by her determination and hopes for a better world where in there will be no more disciminations, war and death of millions. despite of her cruel experiences during the Holocaust, she still believed that these people (esp. the Nazis) are still good at heart. |

Response: I first became aware of Anne when I was 15 years old which was close to the age that she was when she died. I had read her diary and then gone to the movie about her in 1959. I felt that I knew her as I too loved to write and could identify with many of the things that she said about life and having an older sister. As the movie started, tears rolled down my face....Anne and I were so much alike.....you can really understand the heart wrenching situation in the world back then when you feel that you "knew" someone that was alive then... and I felt that I really "knew" her as she had shared her innermost feelings with me..... when you read Anne's diary you understand that the Holocaust really happened....and is not just a "world event" from the papers....... because it happened to a young girl just like you..... |
