Response: I think that the Diary of Anne Frank was a influential story. It really made me realize how good my life is, and how lucky I am to be able to go out on the streets and not worry about getting killed. |

Response: I thought the story was interesting, yet depressing. The tension was incredible that couldn't be fully comprehendable. Also, the book was great in the fact that it was a bout the real struggle in World War II. |

Response: We like the story a lot and we were very inspired by the context. We read it in class and we relized what it is like to a Jew in this period of time. |

Response: Again, I am stunned by such a tragic event in the course of history of Europe. I am amazed by Anne's positive attitude and joy in life--it is a message to all of us to focus on what we have rather than what we don't have, and to continue to be thankful for our family and freedoms in America. |

Response: I read the diary of anne frank i like the book but it was difficult to relate to her and what she went through because things are different now.She seems to be positive even though she was in a attic for a long time. |

Response: I read the diary of Anne Frank and she seemed to be a positive person during such a difficult time. It's hard to relate to her and what she went through. Things today are different than they were back then. |

Response: Anne Frank is a very intellegent girl. She was always laughing and she looked at life a different way then other people. For example when ever something bad happened she would always look at the good side of it. We read the play in school and this story affected me because Anne knew what she wanted in life and just kept writing and writing hoping her books would get published. Out of this story i got that the jewish had a very hard life in this period of time, and i learned from Anne that you should always treat people equally. |

Response: This story made me relize how bad the Holocaust was. I never really knew a lot about it and this girls journals have showed me what it was like to go through it.I can relate to her in give because i hate it when people treat others like they're inferior to them and that people should be more caring. That is a way how I can relate to her. Im glad my class read this because now i have a better feeling of what it was like for jewish people who went through this.It makes it feel more like it really happened because you get someones thoughts and feelings rather than just pure fact in a textbook. If we hadnt read this I probably never would have realized what the Holocaust was truly like. |

Response: I am sooo glad I was not born and those days and thank my lucky stars i am more fortunate then they were. anne has made me open my eyes to all of the poor people out there and how fortunate I am. I am going to try to be kinder to poor and less fortunate people. Thank you so much Anne!! may your memory live on for ever. |

Response: Anne did not deserve to go to a concentration camp. her fate is one I know was the best, however. Think of how different everything would have been if she had lived! though her death hardly seems fair, at least she left her mark on the world, and I hope people really will try to treat the poor and the rich as equals. her love for the world will be felt forever <3 |
