I have always had a fascination with History as a whole, and the Holocaust as part of that. When I was in Middle School I had to do a project about the Holocaust and it's effects and that's when I really understood what had happened during that period. I couldn't understand how human beings could treat other human beings that way, so to this day I still do research on it to learn as much as i can. i have just recently read Anne Frank's Diary and I have to admit that she had the most incredible amount of courage and insight, especially for a person her age. When my children are older, I will read her Diary to them in hopes that they can take something from her thoughts and feelings and develop a sense of responsiblity, empathy and humanity for man kind.

The story of Anne Frank, was an inspirational story of a young girl who struggled through a tragic time period. Her dream for peace and tranquility might not be in the near future, but yet we as a people group can be inspired by her hope for world peace. Through her diary we explore the social problems established by Adolf Hitler. The restrictions placed on the Jews was part of the social imperfections. We as Americans can appreciate all the freedoms described by our governmental doctrines, here in America. We can learn alot about past historical mistakes made by our forefathers, not only in America, but across this great world. Anne Frank's dream seems distant, but even though we may not thrive to live in perfect peace and tranquility, we can all thrive to make right relationships with our brothers, and sisters of this planet earth.

What I get from Anne Frank is the power to think we can change and we can stop living in pain or in fear of the World even though she lived during one of the most shameful examples of the human spirit she still lived and she wrote and she is being heard. It is so very powerful and all teenage girls should at least read her book and get a full grasp at that whole situation so that they can feel empowered and blessed and proud of themselves as teenagers due to Anne Frank and being a strong representation of a brilliant sprit. If we all can get a grasp on that part of her then we will know that we have no excuses to love and to appreciate everything we have.

I am 12 years old and i think that Anne Frank is awesome! I first read The Diary of Anne Frank at 8 years old. At school this year we read a shortened version of this book. It is a shame that most, no all of the kids in my class thought it was a stupid book and was a waste of time. I was extreamly hurt because i feel rather close to Anne because i am part gypsy and part of my family was taken victm to the Nazis. I believe every person should read this extreamly moving novel written by a very talented young girl.

At first, i thought my problems were the biggest things on earth, but when i read Anne's diary, i really hated myself for thinking of such stupid things like how i cant find an outfit or how my best friend moved away and everything but when i read the diary, it made me feel like i was living a dream life, what with all the issues and all. I just think its sooooooo sad and amazing at the same time. I mean, how could someone be prejudiced that bad to Jews? Adolf Hitler was. And his prejudiceness got Anne and her sister killed in a concentration camp. Her mother died too. Good thing her father survived, or i would have been still thinking that i had huge problems. If Anne Frank was alive today, i think i would truly love her, as a friend. I mean, how could someone be so...i dont know the word..but she's amazing. Keeping her spirits up like that, writing in her diary. It's really nice.

Anne Frank is my role model. We should all learn to be like her. With her love of life and her creativity. How cruel and unfair this world is to let an innocent young girl of her talent be wasted. She would have done so many great things to this world. When I read her diary it changed my life and output on the world. It made me think how lucky I am how we all are to have the freedom she never had. To me Anne Frank is more than a writer, she is a heroine that represents all those lives were lost during the Holocaust. Her diary and story has changed my life.

i first heard about anne frank on a news story and i just had to find out mor eabout her, so i went on the net and researched on her and it was really touchin and emotional. she really knows how to bring out her exrpressions in her writings. she talks way beyond her age. its sad how she had to die that way, but her wish came through. i just had to comment on her reading, she really brought out her life and her thoughts briliantly.
she was a smart young young lady. her parents taught her well and sh elearnt alot. she was a blessed young lady who looked at the world the way it is supposed to be looked at. If every one in the world read and really tried to put into practice what this young lady said to the world. I just have to say that this young girl is an inspiration to me and i know if she was alive she would have changed alot of peoples lives. May her soul rest in peace.
