Response: Anne Frank is a powerful and strong girl. She had such big dreams that she never got to achieve. It is a terrible yet heroic story of a young girl. i am reading The Diary of Anne Frank and I am impowered to achieve my dreams because of Anne. Maybe this sotry will one day change the World to be better and realize what effect these terrible Wars can cause. I want to say thank you to Anne Frank. Even though she can't read this, she will know that i thank her for sharing her life story with me. You are a idol to every girl in this nation! It touches me that she wanted her life to be shared and that that exactly happened. I hope my dreams come true like you! |

Response: I read Anne's diary when I was the same age as she was. I'm 17 now, but still she is and always be my role model. Anne Frank is a wonderful human being, and she has made me curious and more aware of the Holocaust and other similar tragedies of our world, like the Darfur genocide. It's terrible that innocent people have to go through war, and I think the Holocaust may be the greatest, most inhumane thing ever done to a people.
I loved reading Anne Frank's diary, and being a girl of that age I could relate to her a lot. I too want to be a writer, and Anne is certainly a great inspiration. I am also intrigued by history, as I love learning about the past. I think it's important we should never forget what happened in the world back then, like the Holocaust, because obviously people will repeat history again. There are already those who deny the Holocaust, and that scares me. Hatred of others because of race or gender is just an excuse for ignorance, for the fear of the unknown. Anne Frank's life illustrated that, and I will never forget her. |

Response: I'm a person that loves to read about Anne Frank, mostly what gone on in history. I see anne frank as my long lost sister. We both want to become journalists and we both love to write. When I read her diary it makes me want to cry because how can some people be that cruel to hurt there own people. Like Anne Frank said we are all equal - no one should be classes second, first or third. I love Anne Frank and her diary and hopefully I will be good minded as she is one day |

Response: When I read this book it made me think of all of the times I had heard something on the news and never thought anything about it. It made me realize how rude people can be to one another. I hope that one day all of the world can get over selfishness and get along. I have read many books on the Holocaust but this is the one that really made me think... we can be better than that. And her famous wish to me " I want to go on living even after I die" has come true. She has gone on with her courage, to do all she did. |

Response: While reading and viewing photos of this wonderful human being who's life was sadly taken from her too soon...has GIVEN me instant gratification! In the moment of me writing this I feel a since of COURAGE and a spiritual CONNECTION between us...although she doesn't know me and I don't know her physically...However.... I too strive in the desires and hopes of becoming the best Journalist/Writer..that I am set forth to be....and in turn having some of the same ponderous questions and thoughts. Just reading what I have read...has concluded my every thought I have ever had about her before reading any of her material. She was so strong and insightful in word and so profound at a youthful age...but through her and many we have come to realize age no longer exist... on many things. She has insipred me to completion like no other writer has... and from today on I will continue to be Intrigued through her..for my dreams and goals...what a special human being she was and still... to us all...my only back breathe is that I wish I would have discovered who she really was alot sooner. You are missed Anne Frank but your words still exist...so for that you will never be forgotten. In spirit thank you... Anne Frank....Thank You ! |

Response: I am 16 yrs old, and I have read the diary every year since my 6th grade year. Anne Frank and her writings has inspired me more than any other person or piece of literature. She above all others made me realize the cruelities of th world and the people within it. She has made me want to make a difference in the world as well as, express her ideas of peace to everyone. I hope to become a doctor one day, and to fulfill all of Anne's goals and ideas for the world. I also hope people of my generation start to realize we are the ones that should try and make a difference, rather than do nothing. All in all, Anne Frank has made a huge impact on my life that shall last throughout, as well as, she will always be my hero and idol. And finally, Anne will always be in my heart as I hope she is resting in peace. |
