The first time I read, "Anne Frank" as a young girl of 11, it immediately left an impression. Her articulate craft in writing and her open heart of seeing good in all people has been an inspiration. Now as a 37 year old woman, I still own a copy of her diary and continue to let people know that it is a story they should read. She was a brilliant young girl that endured more than any of us may see in a lifetime. I would like to think she would be pleased if she knew how many lives she has touched.

The book "Anne Frank" taught me a lot. It showed me that when we think that we have it hard, we should think about poor Anne who had a very hard and difficult life. She is inspiration to people all over the world! Whenever I think that life is tough, I think about Anne. It is so sad that she died and that her father was the only one who lived through World War 2 from her family. In away she accomplished her biggest dream-to become a writer. She inspired me to write a diary. If her diary can make such a big impact in people's life-well, maybe our writings can have big impact too.

The first time I read her diary i was shocked at how much I didnt know about her and the holocaust. I have continued reading her books and is continuely surprised. I am also now doing a documentery on her and is finding alot more about Anne Frank.

I am only about Anne's when she started keeping her diaries, but I just wish she were alive and I could see her and talk to her because we have so much in common. Everyone should know who Anne is because she is so important and this site teaches you that. It taught me how important (and fun) diaries are and how much they tell people in the future to know what life is really like in this time and this generation. Anne Frank is somebody to pay attention to.

I heard about the book when I was about 11...now at 56..I finally read it and reread it.I was so inpressed and moved by it. Anne, was an intelligent, thoughtful and articulate person...and brought her story to life.So moved was I by it, I watched the movie starring Hannah Gordon Taylor, the young English actress..and now am reading and watching much on the Holocaust. Anne's final days, must have been so harrowing and desperate for her. Her, and millions of other deaths, must never be repeated. I salute the courage of a brave girl.
