Now as a sophomore in high school, I've come to reflect back two years ago when I was doing her for English, not because she was of particular interest, but because I simply had to pick someone. Yet, the further along I got in her diary, the more admiration I had.
She had been just like any ordinary schoolgirls, leading a social life (and was very popular.) Yet, when her Jewish family was forced to hide from the Nazis, her youth was stolen and she was forced to mature quickly. Her writing was beyond her years as was her persona and went through more than most of us would in our lifetime. I can never regret now writing about this gifted diarist for my term paper! |

Anne's story is so sad. I keep wanting to know more about her life and how it was like. Our Languaje Arts class has just started reading the broadway version of Anne Frank's life/diary. It is so interesting. Last night I watched most of the movie. I'm dying to finish the rest. I would hate to be living that time. I could never imagine how hard and devistating it would be to be taken prisoner for beleiving in something and being separated from my family. At least one of Anne's dreams came true. It's a shame she didn't live long enough to see it happen. |

I am currently in the 6th grade and I am doing a biography on her. i really didn't know that much about her but when i read about her it amazed me how much I was like her. it made me look at things in a new light . The world should respect and treat all peoploe fairly. |

when I finished her diary I realized that she used to be a really good writer but she didn't even finished her diary i realized that she used to have a bad life she didn't have a chance to get her own dream I should be proud what i have not what I want I really have her fellings I started crying when i finished this book I even make a 5 pages book report front and back and I show my work to my familly and I told them that anne was a live an inocent young girl who belived and who is also a legend that book it touched my heart my boyfriend came up to me and asked me why was I crying about and I told him that he should read this book and he did and he notice that I sounded just like her and he hug me and bought me all the books of anne morgan i was so happy he knew how much this books ment to me I just have her feelings I think she used to be a great person even though she's gone she will always be in my heart with me this is my true fellings for her she's everything to me I just hope that one day I could figure out the last word she was ganna say since last year I'ved been figuring this out and I will I wont fail I promose |

I am currently reading The diary of Anne Frank for a novel study in English, and I must say, it is a very touching book to read. I imagined what it must have been like during the Holocaust, and when I read the Anti-Jewish decrees, it has made me realize that I take what the jews didn't have back then, for granted, I shoudl be more grateful for what I have, rather then for what I want. |

I read Anne's diary when I was 15 and it had a huge impact on my life. I could identify with all her feelings as a young person myself, and realised that teenage experiences cross all time spans. I am 41 now and have gone on with life in gratefulness knowing that Anne and many others never got to enjoy it in all it's richness as I have. I have really enjoyed revisiting Anne through your wonderful web site. |

I am in Junior High, and am currently doing a project on Anne Frank. Her story is so amazing to tell and I am fascinated. What happened to Jews and people who dared to be different is terrible. I hope the whole world will learn about Anne Frank and anll the other Jewish people that were a part of this disaster and learn from it. The world has alot to learn about Anne's story and other peoples storys. |

the first copy i read was at my school libary. it was a photograph story of her life. then i went on to read the whole thing. i was so touched an desided that if at least one girl from each generation and each contry in the world then we could see how the world is changing and improve the word like anne wanted us to, like she herself wanted to.(I am from englan and fell so close to where it all happened but not close enough) |

I'm a sixth grader and doing her for a report. Her diary was like a diary someone might write today all though her's is very sad! I think it would be very tough being a teenager and not being able to go outside or go to the bathroom during the day in the anex! This really put an impact oneme. it made me think how lucky i am and everyone else in this country!(united states) |

I am in 8th grade,in my english class we are studying "The Diary of Anne Frank".It is so amazing the understanding the movie and book has brought to me.The feeling of knowing the horrible things that happened to so many people is overwelming.Altough I'll probably never know or feel the true pain,sorrows,and suffering of Anne Frank,I feel I can most definiatley relate to her,I hope to someday become a writer.When I read her essay titled "Give",I really felt as if she were here reading it to me,like she wants me to try to change the world,oh how I wish I could!The way so many human beings were treated is horrific...it almost brings anger to my heart,to know that one person could treat another so unpleasantly.What is most of all sad is that things haven't really changed...not sure if they ever will.I mean sure,such things as over 4 million jews being persecuted isn't happening at this time,but we still catagorize people on subjects such as,what they look like,how they dress,how much money they have,and what family they come from.After learning all the things of Anne Frank,it makes me want to give all that I can,to as many people as I can.All in all "The Diary of Anne Frank",has changed my life,I wish to become a more superior person,and I hope someday that things in this cruel world will change. |
