I love Anne Frank. Her diary is deeply moving and touching.
The girl had such a fiery spirit, I really love her courage. I wish Anne were alive. She would've loved to celebrate ehr 81st birthday.

Reading Anne Frank taught me far more in depth about the lives of Jewish people in hiding during the Holocaust than a history book could have. It literally defined the differences between her life and mine. She faced many challenges that a girl her age shouldn't have to face, but she still did it with an optimistic attitude that couldn't be broken by any challenge she faced. The lack of food, electricity, and security were all overcome through her strong force of will. Anne taught me about human life in general. I learned of the perseverence of the Jewish people and their will to survive. I learned how terribly she and her family were treated. It reminds all of us, over 60 years later, that something so cruel shouldn't repeat itself.

The Diary of Anne Frank was a relatable account of a young girl just like myself. Many of the changes and experiences Anne was going through I am/was as well. Anne faced a lot of challenges but still seemed to pull through all the tough times living in hiding with seven other people. To me this means she is a strong person and has a lot of ambition to stay true to herself, which I admire. For quite some time I have wanted to be just like Anne was. She never cared what others thought of her and she ignored the negative comments made about her. She is an inspiring person and an outstanding writer. Throughtout the book I got goosebumps when she told us that she wanted to be a writer and that she would never think her diary would be published. This book is something I will remember for the rest of my life.

The Diary of Anne Frank was an interesting book to read and although there were parts that had no appeal to me, I enjoyed most of it. What I liked most about the book, was that I found it extrememly easy to relate to Anne, what she was feeling, situations she was in, and overall what her thoughts on different things were. The aspect in the book that I could mostly relate to was Anne's relationship with her older sister, Margot. I have an older sister and I occasionally feel the same way that Anne did; overshadowed. Often times it feels like what I do is second best or just doesn't live up to the many things my sister has done and accomplished. It was heartwarming to see how Anne repaired her relationship with Margot and how they become closer. It is exactly how my sister and I are now that we are older. Overall I enjoyed reading the diary. It was a great insight to what life really must have been like if you were in Anne's position, and it shows and represents the struggle of everyone who suffered through the Holocaust. Its message of strength and of faith will not be forgotten by me. I give the book five stars!

The first time I read Anne Frank was in school a few months ago and I was amazed at how similar our lives were. When she was describing her math class, I was picturing myself in her shoes. I'm so sad that she had to go through that horrible time all by herself, even though she was with her family she couldn't speak her mind without getting yelled at so she basically went through hidding alone. When Peter was brought into her life, I was thanking God because I believe the Holy Spirit had a hand in putting Peter in Anne's life to listen to her problems and give her a shoulder to cry on. This book made me think that my life as I know it, can be taken away from me in a second. This book showed me that I can't live in the past and hold a grudge, I need to move on and grasp the future because if I stir up the past, my future is going to get away from me. Anne Frank is a girl that I can strongly relate to because I know exactly what she is going through, and I know how hard it is to go through something alone. I hope this book stays in the world because everyone needs to learn about the Holocaust and know how the lives of millions of people were effected by Hitler's rule. This book is truly amazing!

The Diary of Anne Frank truly is a masterpiece in that it captures so many different themes and that it makes you emotionally attached to the characters. My personal favorite feature of the story, and what I found most amazing, was how relatable Anne is, even today. I personally can't remember how many times I could identify with something Anne had thought, said, or done, throughout the story. Anne Frank truly was a great writer, and the way she captures so many emotions and themes in her story is what truly makes it a great book and is what has kept it so popular throughout the past half-century.

When I first read the Diary of Anne Frank, I didn't know what to expect from the book. I didn't think it would impact me in any way. As I read through the book, I realized that it has impacted me in many different ways. I realized Anne is just a person just like me, and that she deals with everyday issues like I do. The book impacted me very much because it showed me that living in a comfortable life, and not having to worry about when the next meal is, is something that I take for granted. Anne showed me that we should be thankful for everything God has put in our life, and everything He has given us. She showed me that even though she was going through a horrific time that you can still be thankful for everything you have. Anne was going through a hard time, and she was still thankful for everything. This pushes me to give thanks for everything I have. Another thing the book has changed in my mind is the way I first pictured Anne. I thought Anne would be a whining little teenager, but as I read along I realized she isn't different from me, and she has the same feelings as me. We may have lived more then 60 years apart, but we still go through the same daily struggles. I am glad I read this book and it has impacted the way I live my life very deeply.

I liked reading the Diary of Anne Frank because I could easily relate to Anne and her emotions. I now understand the struggles the Jews went through and World War II makes more sense now. Reading this made me understand the terror the Jews felt and the fear that they would be discovered. Anne's problems at home make me appreciate the space that I have and even though my family bothers me sometimes, I have it a lot better off that Anne did. Her relationship with Peter was a humorus one, in my opinion becuase it made me realize that little things in the Annex became a main focus. Anne really treasured the time she spent with her beloved Peter. It was easy to see that Anne was fustrated with being in the Annex and the hardships she went through. As I was reading, I understood her frustration with people thinking that she is emotionally younger that she really was. Anne is a role model for peopel who are going through a hard time because even though she was in the worst of the conditions, she found hope and she still had some fun. Anne was bored and she found a way to take her mind off the danger by writing in her diary or talking to Peter. You can see her major transformation from a carefree girl to a person who has a lot to deal with. Anne becomes a mature girl and I've enjoyed reading about her drastic transformation. Her rocky relationships she had with the poeple of the Annex are normal and it was interesting reading about a person who is going through maturity while there are people on the outside world who want to kill her. It is a devestating thing that Anne died, but I'm glad her father had her diary preseved so that others could learn on the hardships she endured. So, I guess that Anne's diary really did go on and she has lived forever; in the hearts of all those who read it.
