I think that her story is very sad and everyone should read her diary. I didn't know as much about the secret annex that she lived in and I didn't know about how bad the concentration camps were. This website helps me to understand the Holocaust better. Her story gives a very accurate description of the tragedies she and her family went through. |

Anne Frank was a very intelligent and insightful girl at a very young age. The hardships that her family had to endure are sad. The values that this young girl had are amazing. Even though her family was being prosecuted she thought everyone was good at heart. Everyone can learn something from this girl she is an inspiration to people all over the world. |

After reading the Diary of Anne Frank, i was very upset that Anne and her family had to go through that terrible phase. I was surprised that they were able to find a hiding place to stay. I couldn't believe that they had to survive on that low supply of food. I felt that her dairy gave us a good perspective on how a person had to deal with hiding during the Holocaust. The whole experience was very touching and I thought that Anne Frank was very smart of keeping her thoughts in a diary on a day to day basis during the Holocaust. |

Anne Frank was a spectacular person that it is difficult to put in words. Although she died at a very young age, 15, much too young for any person to die. It is interesting to look at how young she was, and how meaningful her writing is. It would be tough to imagine how much she could have done and helped us if she was still alive today or at least lived as long as the average person does. Her works as she progressed would have ridiculously good, especially having such a terrible past, she probably would have been such an influential writer. |

I thought Anne Frank was very real and knew to write about reality. She mentioned that she wants to write stories but she knows that she should write about what is really happening. She also says that she is happy of her choice that she brought her book into hiding inside of many dresses. Many other people now a days would probably bring things for themselves so they look good. I know I definitely would think of a lot of other things before a diary because I do not enjoying writing. |

While reading about Anne Frank, I did not realize how important her writings and journal where. Her journal not only where she wrote but where she could be her true self. Thats very powerful. Her thoughts and ideals were way beyond her years. She is truely a fantastic writer. |

After reading Anne Frank's Diary in middle school it made me realize the difficulties that the Jewish Community went through. On this website it shows entries of Anne Frank and one was the day that she got the Diary. It was her birthday and she said that she cherished in more than any other present that she had gotten. She was very brave to live in the conditions she was in and it was unfortunate that she died at such a young age. This book put a strong memory in my mind about this event and will most likely stick with me for the rest of my life. |

When I first read the book in 8th grade it wasn't as interesting as I think it will be now when I read it. Anne was only 13 when she started to stay in the "Secret Annex" I don't anyone including myself could do that. She wrote about everything that happened and I think that is amazing. It was good not just so she could have her memories but so we could see how she felt and what she had to go through. I can't wait to read the book again so I can get a better view at it. |

My older sister read the Diary of Anne Frank in school before I did. When she read it, she told me about the book. She pointed out to me the striking similarities which she and I shared with Anne and her sister Margot. My birthday is in June, near Anne's; my sister's birthday is in February, near Margot's. And the age difference between Anne & Margot was the same as my sister and me. Our personalities also mirrored Margot's and Anne's. And I, too, had a secret ambition to be a writer. As a result, I've always identified with Anne Frank and I've felt a bond with her my entire life. I even have an 'Anne Frank' shelf in my bookcase. I think I own every book that has been written about her.
Through the Diary of Anne Frank, I learned at an early age that the Holocaust wasn't an event which happened to people far removed from me. It happened to people exactly like me.
Anne lives in my soul. |
