March 05, 2009 01:25 PM | Location: Pennsylvania Response: It's amazing...Anne was an ordinary girl like any of us, just put into a difficult situation. Through it all, she kept her hope, her faith, and her sanity. I wish that I had even half of the courage and patience that she had! But I can't help thinking, if she could be a hero, then could I? |

February 28, 2009 07:25 AM | Location: Australia Response: Hi. My name is Maddi. I am 12, and at the age of 11 I first read The Diary of Anne Frank. I love it. I love those types of books. Holocaust books. I am also writing in a diary. I am really amazed. I mean, 5 note books and more than 300 loose papers. And the depth of her thoughts. She was a gift. And she was ripped away from our lives by big, evil hands. But, we have her diary's. Her life story. Her gift, on hundreds of pieces of paper. Just for us. Good people sometimes find themselves in trouble, without having done Anything wrong. I hope to meet her in heaven. I want to be a strong person just like her..... |

Response: Anne Frank was such an amazing person I can't put in words. She died at age 15, to young for ordinary people but way to young for someone who impacted us with only 2 years of writing. Imagine how much would have impacted and helped us if she was alive today or at least lived as long as the avrage person does. |
