The Museum is the global leader in fostering greater awareness of the Holocaust and its lessons for a complex world by teaching why the Holocaust happened—and was allowed to happen. Through exhibitions, educational resources, digital outreach, and programs for students, teachers, and leaders, the Levine Institute aims to expand people's critical thinking skills, deepen their understanding of their responsibility in a democratic society, and ultimately prompt changes in their attitudes and behavior.
The Educating a 21st-Century Global Audience Impact Fund provides critical resources to support the Levine Institute's work to expand awareness and understanding of the Holocaust, as well as to help communities in Europe and the Middle East become less susceptible to violent antisemitism.
“Sometimes you hear people say “enough is enough” about the Holocaust—it’s never enough. Time goes by and people forget. We must never let that happen. This history needs to be kept alive, taught, and always preserved. That is the mission of this great institution, and we need to be sure it has the funds to go on in perpetuity.” —William Levine
