Tallan Donine

Elbaz Family Fellow with Claremont McKenna College

Tallan Donine is an Elbaz Family Fellow with Claremont McKenna College, working with the Simon-Skjodt Center. She holds a BA in International Relations with a focus in Human Rights, Genocide, and Holocaust Studies from Claremont McKenna College, where she conducted research comparing various US presidents’ responses to mass atrocities. She also studied peace and conflict issues in Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the Netherlands. Previously she interned at POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, Freedom House, and the US State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor.

Fellowship Project

Tallan will assist the Center's “Lessons Learned in Preventing and Responding to Mass Atrocities” project through systematic reviews and practitioner interviews, as well as the Early Warning Project and other internal processes.
