UNITED STATES HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL MUSEUM OUTRAGED AT DEADLY NEW JERSEY ANTISEMITIC ATTACK

WASHINGTON, DC – The Museum is outraged by the deadly antisemitic attack in Jersey City, New Jersey. This is only the most recent such attack as we witness rising antisemitism from various segments of American society. The increase in antisemitism, particularly violent antisemitism, is extremely alarming and cannot be permitted to go unchallenged. Countering it requires Americans of all backgrounds to confront it. As the Holocaust teaches, antisemitism is a virus and a threat not only to Jews, but to society as a whole.

A living memorial to the Holocaust, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum inspires citizens and leaders worldwide to confront hatred, prevent genocide, and promote human dignity. For more information, visit ushmm.org.
