Getting Started

The online research request form takes five to ten minutes to complete. It is made up of four sections:

  • Part 1: Who are you?
  • Part 2: Whom are you searching for?
  • Part 3: Review and Submission
  • Part 4: Confirmation

Before You Begin

  • Priority is given to survivors and their immediate families. The Museum honors as Survivors any persons, Jewish or non-Jewish, who were displaced, persecuted, or discriminated against due to the racial, religious, ethnic, social, and political policies of the Nazis and their collaborators between 1933 and 1945.

  • Please assemble any relevant records about the individuals you want to research. This includes full names, dates, and places (towns and countries). Be as precise as possible. For example, providing exact birth dates, correct spellings, and precise locations before, during, and after the War, will maximize the chances of locating relevant records. Although some fields are optional, please enter any and all known information.
