Fellowship Research
During his tenure at the Center, he conducted a study on the representation of Holocaust photography in French and American textbooks since the 1970’s. He sought to understand how the Holocaust is integrated into American and French consciousness through the use of images. He explored the lessons conveyed through these images and the way in which the Holocaust is memorialized.
Mr. Tronqual was in residence at the Mandel Center from April 1 to June 30, 2006.
