Otto Feuer was convinced he would not survive the Holocaust. He was imprisoned for nearly six years in three concentration camps in Nazi Germany.
The striped uniform he wore and the jacket that was marked as prisoner clothing help tell his story of being persecuted for being Jewish. The garments also speak to his resilience after liberation.
Just two weeks after the US Army liberated Buchenwald in April 1945, Otto, still wearing the jacket, thanked soldiers in an on-camera interview filmed by Army officials.
