Visit The Portal

This exhibition is closed.

This Portal allows you to have a face-to-face conversation with someone in another part of the world—as if you are standing in the same room. Through this installation, you will be able to converse in real time with people who have fled genocidal crimes of ISIS in Northern Iraq and the war crimes of Syria’s Assad regime and found refuge in Iraq, Jordan, and Germany.

The Portal is a part of the Museum's exhibition Genocide: The Threat Continues, which focuses on the efforts of the Museum’s Simon-Skjodt Center for the Prevention of Genocide to bring attention to the people and places at risk today for genocide and other mass atrocities.
