Bibliography and Videography

Applicable for Secondary Education

Share

With all the books, films, and website content about the Holocaust, choosing the right resource for classroom use can be difficult. This bibliography provides examples for the secondary school level that meet the Museum’s rubric criteria. Suggested grade levels are provided, and Lexile Scores are noted when available. It includes diaries, memoirs, secondary sources, literature, graphic novels, and films. It is not intended to be comprehensive.

This rubric (PDF) guides educators in selecting age-appropriate and historically accurate books. Educators are encouraged to evaluate the options in the bibliography with the rubric to assess how the source fits their classroom needs.
